Linux DevOps Administrator - REMOTE San Antonio, TX 78201 JTEC Consulting LLC focuses on successfully delivering solutions to meet our clients' most critical needs. Security Clearance Requirement: Secret Location Note: Remote from a U.S. based location will be considered Position Description: JTEC Consulting is hiring an experienced Linux DevOps Administrator to join an established program working in support of a federal government customer building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure. Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience supporting continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), cloud technologies, container orchestration, and security.

Prior experience supporting a DoD environment is preferred. A current Security+ certification is required for consideration. Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Work as part of a collaborative team to design system and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats Support automation of Linux and other application related processes with Jenkins, Ansible, and various scripting tools Manage troubleshooting, logging, and auditing tasks in Linux Support documentation and knowledge transfer Manually find and resolve Linux issues Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, and improve performance Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements Other duties, as assigned Requirements include (but are not limited to): * U.S.

citizenship; no dual citizenship Current Secret security clearance Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred; associates degree or related military training may be considered in lieu of a degree Current Security+ or equivalent industry recognized technical certification to meet DoD 8570 compliance 7+ years of related experience supporting a DevOps development including: 3+ years of overall experience must be recent work supporting Linux in a DevOps environment Experience with a CI/CD platform, such as FlexDeploy, Jenkins (groovy), Ansible core (yaml), GitLab CI/CD Experience implementing and troubleshooting Linux in an enterprise environment Experience with a CI/CD platform, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar technologies Experience with Linux patching using DNF and YUM Experience with Ansible and Jenkins Strong knowledge of DNS/Networking and networking debugging with packet capture Experience working with REST APIs Experience working in a secure environment Strong knowledge of DNS/Networking and networking debugging with packet capture Strong scripting in more than one of these languages: python, bash, zsh, ksh, csh Strong configuration management knowledge and experience Experience in an OCI environment on virtual images Experience developing and maintaining program documentation Excellent organization skills and ability to manage work, provide accurate and realistic estimates, and meet deadlines Effective written and verbal communication skills to excel in a blended government and contractor team environment Ability to support individual and team workloads and operate productively as a member of a collaborative team Demonstrated experience staying abreast of new technologies and their applications meeting industry best practices #CICD #DEVOPS #LINUX #SECRETCLEARANCE #ANSIBLE #SCRIPTING #DNF #YUM JTEC Consulting LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
