Equinox is seeking an Infrastructure & DevOps Specialist who brings strong technical expertise, ownership mindset, and a passion for building secure, scalable infrastructure in a global environment.

In this role, you will design, manage, and optimize the systems that underpin our multi-office operations - ensuring performance, reliability, and security across on-premises and cloud environments.

As an Infrastructure & DevOps Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure with a focus on:
  • Ensuring reliable and secure connectivity across global offices

Technical Leadership
  • Design and manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments
  • Own infrastructure architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu) for repeatable, consistent deployments
  • Provide guidance and technical direction on infrastructure best practices
Network & Infrastructure Management
  • Manage network security using Palo Alto firewalls and Cloudflare services

  • Integrate security practices into deployment pipelines and infrastructure design
  • Monitor and optimize cloud spend and infrastructure utilization
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with IT leadership, engineering teams, and business stakeholders
  • Support migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions
  • Mentor internal teams on DevOps, security, and infrastructure best practices
  • Contribute to a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
You are a hands-on infrastructure and DevOps professional who thrives in a high-ownership environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. You bring:
  • 6+ years of experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles
  • Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS environments
  • Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/OpenTofu)
  • Experience managing network security (Palo Alto, Cloudflare or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
  • Strong scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
  • Experience designing and supporting disaster recovery solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred
  • Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, Container Apps)
  • Exposure to multi-site or global infrastructure environments
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization and governance
  • Relevant certifications (Azure, AWS, Palo Alto, etc.)
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
