About the Role:
Sales Engineer is a key role as you are dealing directly with Pentera's prospects, presenting new insights and introducing our technology. As a Sales Engineer at Pentera, you will be facing challenging assignments that address some of the most advanced and technological aspects of the Cyber Security world and Pentesting, in particular.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate Cyber Technology Expertise: Show deep knowledge and understanding of cyber technologies within customer networks, acting as a trusted technical expert.
  • Lead Customer Engagements: Conduct introduction meetings and in-depth technical sessions to educate customers on product capabilities and drive service expansion opportunities.
  • Sales Support and Strategy: Collaborate closely with the sales team to strategize sales approaches, identify leads, convert them into opportunities, and execute a winning plan.
  • Technical Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations for prospects and customers, both in person and virtually, showcasing how Pentera's solutions deliver value from both technical and business perspectives.

Requirements
Requirements
  • 2-4 years in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or professional services role, preferably in a cybersecurity startup company supporting enterprise accounts.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Networking and Systems (Linux, Windows, Cloud, Docker infrastructure, Active Directory, troubleshooting).
  • Strong foundation in IT infrastructure, including OS (Windows, Linux), Networks, and Active Directory.
  • Deep understanding of network security concepts, cybersecurity methodologies, and Microsoft network protocols.
  • Certifications: CEH, CISSP, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the Penetration Testing field; practical experience is a major advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical material to small and large groups.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a knack for building warm customer relationships and energizing the PoV room.
  • Exceptional time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities.
  • Team player, self-sufficient, and highly motivated with a friendly, approachable attitude.
  • Availability for frequent travel (up to 50%).
