Responsibilities:
  • Configure and support BlackLine account setup, entity structures, and reconciliation workflows 
  • Validate and map financial data (bank-to-GL mappings, lookup tables, reconciliation rules) to ensure accuracy 
  • Manage bank file uploads and system-driven workflows across financial systems 
  • Maintain strict data integrity through proper file formatting, naming conventions, and upload protocols 
  • Troubleshoot data mismatches, system issues, and automation failures 
  • Support client onboarding and system implementation efforts 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, AP, IT, and client service teams 
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance system performance 
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines 
Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of accounting processes, particularly bank reconciliations and data flows 
  • Experience with financial systems and data integration, including bank file uploads and system-driven workflows 
  • Ability to map and validate data (bank-to-GL mappings, lookup tables, and reconciliation rules) to ensure accurate system functionality 
  • High level of attention to detail when managing file formats, naming conventions, and data uploads to prevent processing errors 
  • Experience with system configuration and setup, including account creation, entity structure, and reconciliation setup processes 
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data mismatches, system issues, and automation failures 
  • Ability to analyze and improve processes, ensuring efficient onboarding and long-term system performance 
  • Effective cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with accounting, AP, IT, and client-facing teams during onboarding and issue resolution 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation/automation platforms
