We are passionate about addressing the diverse mental health needs within our community and believe in a holistic approach to care that empowers our clients. As a fully remote position, our Mental Health Counselor role allows for flexibility in work hours while maintaining a strong connection with peers and supervisors through virtual collaboration tools. We foster a culture of support, ensuring our counselors can focus on their primary responsibility: providing outstanding care to our clients. With advanced telehealth systems in place, you will be equipped with the necessary technology to facilitate smooth consultations, appointments, and charting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical consultation to other clinical staff regarding mental health issues affecting various patient populations, including geriatric clients and those struggling with substance use disorders.

  • Facilitate the planning, recommendation, and decision-making processes regarding individual patient care plans, particularly focusing on their home environments and support systems.
  • Regularly conduct treatment planning sessions and review cases for providers to ensure effective and personalized care.
  • Document treatment sessions and interactions with clients efficiently and accurately, contributing to case continuity and provider collaboration.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • Possession of an independent license is mandatory; candidates must have LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT credentials.
  • Proven ability to effectively complete detailed progress notes and documentation after client sessions to maintain continuity of care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with geriatric populations and those struggling with substance use is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telehealth services and remote counseling platforms will be beneficial.
  • Strong skills in communication, case management, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
