About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to support our insurance operations and business teams. In this role, you’ll play a key part in processing claims, managing documentation, and delivering excellent service to internal partners, policyholders, and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide high-quality customer support to internal teams, agents, policyholders, medical providers, and injured workers, ensuring professional and timely communication across all interactions.
  • Process insurance applications, claims, and payments by accurately entering and verifying data from multiple sources, including internal databases and external systems.
  • Review and interpret documents such as First Reports of Injury, medical bills, and reimbursement requests to ensure proper claim setup and payment processing.
  • Manage workflow queues by completing data entry, research, and processing tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle inbound phone calls, gather critical information, document interactions, and clearly communicate next steps to customers.
  • Support document management processes, including mail handling, scanning, indexing, and maintaining compliance with record retention standards.
  • Operate and maintain office equipment such as scanners, postage meters, and printers, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Collaborate with team members by providing backup support, contributing ideas for process improvements, and assisting with special projects as needed.

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer service or office support role, with a strong service mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling data entry and document processing.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Regular attendance is required. Work takes place in a semi paperless environment within an office setting, either on business premises or other remote location, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers, which requires being stationary for extended periods of time.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and work with close vision. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Work is performed indoors with little to no exposure to extreme outdoor weather conditions.
