• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify the mental health needs of patients, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans, adapting strategies based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Provide crisis intervention services and short-term counseling focused on resolving acute psychological distress.
• Facilitate group therapy and workshops, covering vital mental health topics such as anxiety management, coping strategies, and personal development.
• Work collaboratively with various departments, including medical teams and patient services, to coordinate comprehensive care for all patients.
• Engage with community organizations to promote mental health awareness and participate in outreach initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and ethical standards.

Our patients represent a diverse spectrum of mental health needs, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use challenges. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, helping them navigate the complexities of their circumstances and achieve meaningful, lasting change.

• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• A solid understanding of the unique challenges faced by patients in a hospital setting, and the ability to adapt therapeutic strategies accordingly.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to connect with patients and collaborate efficiently with a multi-disciplinary medical staff.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies and brief intervention models suitable for a counseling environment.
• A capacity to prioritize tasks and manage a diverse patient caseload in a rapidly evolving environment.

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience.
• Experience providing telehealth services or working in a digital therapy setting.
• Familiarity with hospital policies and interdisciplinary teamwork.

• Salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
