As a Mental Health Counselor at Well Bond Counseling, you'll be part of a supportive and collaborative work environment. Although this position is primarily remote, you will have opportunities to utilize our state-of-the-art outpatient facilities when needed. Working hours typically align with business operations, but some flexibility is required during peak periods, and occasional evening sessions may be necessary. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations to determine each patient’s needs, tailoring individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Deliver effective short-term individual therapy and crisis intervention services to patients dealing with a broad spectrum of mental health challenges.
• Design and facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops oriented toward enhancing personal development and mental wellness among diverse populations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff, client support services, and community partners, to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Participate in outreach and educational programs aiming at preventive mental health initiatives and wellness promotion within the community.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.

Our diverse patient population includes individuals facing a wide range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship concerns. As a counselor, you will encounter a variety of age groups and backgrounds, tailoring your approaches to resonate with their unique situations. By understanding their lived experiences, you will contribute significantly to improving their emotional resilience and coping strategies.

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; minimally two years of relevant experience is required.
• Proven ability to connect deeply with patients, exhibiting empathetic understanding and demonstrating effective communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health care, including brief therapy models tailored for an outpatient setting.
• Skilled at working in fast-paced environments and able to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

Preference will be given to candidates with additional experience working in outpatient therapy environments, familiarity with various psychological assessment tools, and previous involvement in community outreach or educational initiatives related to mental health.
