Job description

Job Summary:
Confidential company is seeking a high-level Lab Systems Administrator for a fully remote position to execute administration, maintenance, and master data activities specifically for the MODA platform in support of the Massachusetts Biologics Operations (MBO) site. This role involves maintaining system workflows, handling instrument interfaces, providing first-tier remote end-user support, and coordinating closely with Global system owners regarding system changes and communications.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update workflows within the MODA system to ensure seamless daily laboratory operations.
• Assist with MODA system and instrument integrations, execute configuration changes, and coordinate technical requirements with the Global DD&T function.
• Perform MODA master data updates to support routine business changes, site improvements, and resolve complex master data issues.
• Execute routine MODA system administration activities, manage user accounts, and maintain system stability.
• Create and maintain method verification scripts and system documentation to support new MODA functionality and routine software updates.
• Provide first-tier remote application support to resolve daily end-user questions, system errors, and usage issues.
• Support validation activities for ongoing site projects and execute instrument-to-MODA configuration interfaces as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific/technical discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive hands-on configuration, administration, and development experience specifically with the MODA platform.
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow change management workflows, Client ALM, and remote collaboration tools.
