Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be adept at working with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional or behavioral issues. Understanding the unique challenges faced by patients in a healthcare environment is essential, as many are navigating complex healthcare needs alongside their mental health concerns.

Qualifications
  • A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required to meet licensure specifications.
  • A demonstrated ability to engage with patients compassionately and effectively, addressing their unique mental health challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration with a diverse medical team and serve to build trusting relationships with patients.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and short-term therapy models suited for a clinical setting.

  • At least two years of clinical experience providing counseling services in a healthcare, community, or clinical counseling setting.
