Key responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site and remote clinical EHR training to new clients.

  • Create comprehensive workflow documentation, facilitator guides, and training materials for clinical processes.

  • Manage content development staff through coaching, performance feedback, and delegation of content tasks.

Job description

Position Overview
Are you a clinical expert who loves teaching and creating training content? Do you thrive in a fast-paced,
entrepreneurial environment where you can make a real impact? Join Curantis Solutions and help hospice and
palliative care organizations transform their clinical workflows through exceptional training and documentation.

About the Role
As our Clinical Trainer and Content Development Specialist, you'll use your clinical expertise to deliver engaging
training while building a comprehensive library of training materials that scale our impact. This is a hands-on role
where you'll split your time between delivering client training (on-site and remote) and developing the
documentation, facilitator guides, and workflow materials that make every training successful.
Why Join
You'll also lead our content development team member, helping them grow while ensuring our training materials
maintain the highest quality standards.
This role requires travel up to 50% and thrives in our small company culture where everyone wears multiple hats,
contributes ideas, and drives continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Training Delivery
  • Deliver on-site and remote clinical EHR training to new clients (2-3 client go-lives per month)
  • Partner with implementation teams to understand client goals before training
  • Train appropriately sized groups based on instructional best practices
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clinicians during go-lives, supporting smooth adoption
Content Development
  • Create comprehensive best-practice workflow documentation for clinical processes
  • Develop detailed facilitator guides with timing, talking points, and transition cues
  • Design structured training agendas with clear learning objectives
  • Build training materials including user guides, quick reference cards, and job aids
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation and documentation
Team Leadership
  • Manage content development staff through regular coaching and performance feedback
  • Delegate content tasks and ensure quality standards are consistently met
  • Strategic Contributions
  • Evaluate and recommend LMS platforms, then manage content within the system
  • Identify process improvements and implement changes that increase efficiency
  • Collaborate with sales teams on realistic training schedules and capacity planning
  • Contribute clinical expertise to product, sales, and support teams as needed
  • Jump in on company-wide initiativesโ€”because in a small company, everyone contributes beyond their core role
What You'll Need
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years as RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant
  • 2+ years teaching or training electronic health record (EHR/EMR) software
  • Hospice and/or palliative care clinical experience is a major plus. This is a game-changer for understanding our clients' workflows and speaking their language
  • Proven track record creating training documentation, facilitator guides, or instructional materials
  • Experience in small company environments where you've worn multiple hats
  • Background in process documentation, workflow analysis, or continuous improvement
  • Management, mentoring, or team leadership experience
What Makes You Successful Here
The ideal candidate:
  • Knows hospice and palliative care inside and outโ€”the workflows, regulations, and what keeps clinicians up at night
  • Is a gifted trainer who can engage diverse learning styles and translate complex systems into real-world workflows
  • Is a strong writer who creates clear, user-friendly documentation that people actually want to read
  • Is organized and realistic about capacityโ€”you can plan schedules that work for everyone
  • Is an entrepreneurial self-starter who sees problems and fixes them without being asked
  • Is flexible and adaptableโ€”when priorities shift or someone needs help, you pivot
  • Embraces technology and AI as productivity boosters, not threats
  • Listens and collaborates well with sales, implementation, product, and clinical teams
  • Coaches and develops team members while maintaining high quality standards
  • Is excited (not daunted) by up to 50% travel to work directly with clients
Why Join Curantis?
This isn't a corporate training job where you deliver the same canned presentation 100 times. At Curantis, you'll
shape the training program, build the content library from the ground up, and see the direct impact of your work on
hospice organizations serving patients and families in their most vulnerable moments. If you want autonomy,
variety, and the chance to build something meaningful in a supportive small-team environment, this is it.
