Job Title: Technical Writer 3 - Applications/Software Development
Location: Remote
Duration: Ongoing Contract
We are seeking two experienced Technical Writer 3 professionals to support high-level technical writing needs within IT development teams. The selected candidates will perform advanced writing work, coordinating the composition, organization, and editing of compiled technical information. This role operates under limited supervision with significant latitude for independent judgment and initiative.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, technical documentation, and project process documentation across various IT project teams.
  • Compose, review, and edit technical documents, materials, and reports.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to research topics and tailor content for specific audiences.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly content suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to internal style guides and industry standards.
  • Regularly update existing documentation to reflect evolving processes and systems.
  • Recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, or content after reviewing edited materials.
  • Coordinate the integration of graphics and overall production of documentation deliverables.
