The Team You Will Join
You'll be part of the Academic English team, working closely with students and their families, and other English teachers. This team is responsible for educating Primavera students in their English classes.
The team culture is collaborative, supportive, and compliance-focused, and you'll have opportunities to support students while partnering across Primavera Online School.
The Difference You Will Make
In this role, your work will directly impact students, their families, and other teachers by teaching students in engaging lessons, building meaning relationships, and helping the students to earn their high school diploma.
You'll help support learners and enhance student experience contributing to Primavera's mission in a meaningful and visible way.
A Typical Day Looks Like
While no two days are exactly the same, you can expect to:
  • Lesson plan for you engaging live sessions
  • Delivering engaging lessons to students both synchronously and asynchronously
  • Communicating with students to help them get to graduation
  • Participate in month professional development
  • Use of Canvas, Google Drive, and PowerSchool
  • This position requires availability to work core business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Arizona time, Monday through Friday.

This role balances collaboration and problem-solving and is well-suited for someone who enjoys supporting students, managing details, and communicating clearly working with purpose.
Your Expertise Includes
We're looking for someone who brings:
  • AZ Teaching certificate of English for grades 9 - 12
  • Technology savvy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Doing what is best for the students at Primavera
  • Any previous LMS use

Bonus points if you also have:
  • Knowledge and ability to use Google Drive
