Due to Post-specific operational and administrative considerations, the position is not approved to be performed in Alaska, California, Hawaii, or New York. Candidates must be physically located and perform their work from an approved state.

Post University currently offers the option to work remotely in this position. Candidates must plug their equipment into their home router (a 50-foot Ethernet cable will be provided by Post). No wireless connections are supported. The home Internet minimum requirements are a download speed of 25 Mb, an upload speed of 15 Mb, and a ping rate of less than 60. Upload speed is essential for maintaining a consistent audio connection in the phone system. (Please use the link provided to test your home network speed www.speedtest.net.) Candidates whose home network speed does not meet the minimum requirements can independently contact their ISP to upgrade their service before their confirmed start date.

Whenever working remotely, the candidate's home network must meet the minimum required speed and follow the hardware connection settings determined by their provisioned equipment and department role. Additionally, candidates must have a reliable Internet connection and a designated and private home office or alternative workspace free from noise or distractions.

Pay: $45,000/annually; $21.64 hourly

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work schedules that may include evening and/or weekend hours, depending on operational needs. Various schedules are available based on business requirements. Occasional overtime may be available with prior manager approval and at the manager's discretion.


POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Aid Advisor supports online learners through the tuition and financial aid process. This remote role is responsible for guiding students through payment options, collecting documentation, and ensuring compliance with federal and institutional policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer service, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to student success and retention.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Advise students on tuition payment plans, financial aid options, and application procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Admissions, Student Accounts, Registrar, Advising) to support student financial needs.
  • In collaboration with the packaging specialist, collect and verify financial aid documentation to complete student files.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform timely data entry in university systems.
  • Counsel students with high balances or delinquent accounts to identify additional financing solutions.
  • Respond promptly to student inquiries and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Participate in student registration and retention initiatives.
  • Stay current with federal financial aid regulations and university policies.
  • Attend training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain a minimum of 80% “ready time” on inbound phone queue.

  • Excellent computer skills; able to use Microsoft Office products and university systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Energetic and goal-oriented; strong interest in working in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking.

  • Must be in good standing on all federal student loans to access NSLDS.



Monday-Friday w/ 2 late nights, Sun- Thurs, and Tues-Sat are all available options.
