This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our community health clinic. You will engage with clients through online appointments, utilizing secure telehealth platforms to conduct sessions. Our supportive administrative team will manage billing and paperwork, allowing you to focus on what you do best—counseling and providing therapeutic support.

• Conduct detailed initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to create individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups through telehealth sessions.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored specifically to fit the client's unique situation.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care and compliance with best practices.
• Maintain accurate clinical records that reflect the progression of each client’s treatment and adhere to ethical guidelines and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending training, workshops, and seminars to keep abreast of current mental health research and best practices.

Your primary focus will be on clients who seek support for a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. You will be integral in creating a safe space where clients can explore their emotions and develop coping strategies.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing counseling services in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish connections and build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma therapy, counseling for substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a community health setting is a plus.
• Background in utilizing technology for remote counseling and a strong comfort level with telehealth platforms.

We offer an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
