• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms and related issues.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals, preferences, and circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Stay informed on the latest research surrounding mood disorders and therapeutic approaches to continuously enhance treatment strategies.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and work to reduce the stigma associated with seeking therapy.

As an LMFT at Madonna Mental and Behavioral Hospital, you will primarily focus on working with clients experiencing relationship challenges, mood disorders, and life transitions. Your expertise in various therapeutic modalities will allow you to address the diverse needs of couples and families, providing them with the tools and strategies required to foster healthy and fulfilling interpersonal relationships.

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess a nonjudgmental attitude, empathy, and compassion toward clients and their experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage workload and administrative responsibilities.

• Prior experience working in a clinical setting with a focus on family and marital therapy.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and an eagerness to engage in continuous learning and development.
• Experience advocating for clients within a healthcare system and promoting mental health awareness.
