As a remote outpatient counselor, you will have the flexibility to design your work schedule within our operational hours of 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. This structure not only allows for work-life balance but also fosters an environment where lasting therapeutic relationships can be formed, whether through virtual or face-to-face sessions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to integrated, patient-centered care.

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and identify tailored treatment approaches.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and promoting resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote overall healing.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care for all patients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stability.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and healthy coping mechanisms.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, employing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development centered around trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients who are navigating the complex effects of trauma and stress. • Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Strong familiarity with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication skills, characterized by empathy and a non-judgmental approach.
• Proven ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, ensuring a supportive space for clients.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.
