• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, including severity, duration, and impact on their daily lives.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their unique needs and treatment goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.
• Educate clients and family members on mood disorders and treatment options, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care and address any co-occurring health issues.
• Stay current with advancements in mental health treatment and participate in continuous education to refine therapy techniques.
• Document client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Advocate for clients, promoting awareness and reducing stigma associated with mood disorders within the community.

You will be primarily working with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Our practice serves a diverse clientele, and your role will involve understanding the cultural and social factors that influence mental health, allowing you to provide tailored support that resonates with each individual.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based treatment strategies for mood disorders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and exhibit strong communication skills.

• Experience in telehealth therapy practices is highly desirable, particularly in providing remote counseling services.
• A proven track record of successful treatment outcomes in mood disorder management.
• Familiarity with psychopharmacology to effectively coordinate with prescribing providers.
