The Role

The Enablement Manager is an in-market, field-facing role focused on enabling successful delivery of SFU HOA communities and Greenfield SFU/MDU developments. This position serves as the โ€œeyes and earsโ€ for Solutions Engineering and internal delivery teams, conducting site surveys, producing picture packages/field documentation, and building critical relationships with HOAs, municipalities, and developers. The Enablement Manager accelerates readiness, reduces friction, and improves stakeholder alignment by ensuring field realities, access requirements, and permitting constraints are understood early and communicated clearly across teams.

This role blends relationship management, field operations, documentation discipline, and cross functional coordination โ€” and is ideal for someone who thrives in the field and enjoys turning onโ€‘theโ€‘ground insight into scalable execution.

The Main Responsibilities

Field Enablement

  • Serve as inโ€‘market Enablement lead for SFU HOA and Greenfield SFU/MDU initiatives, supporting readiness and execution across prebuild and build phases.

  • Reviews Brownfield Inโ€‘take Requests for initial high-level evaluation, response to submitter, potential site survey and engagement with Solutions Engineer.

  • Review Investment Areas to identify Brownfield opportunities for locations under 16 as well as any potential funnel building lists (Ex Under 300ft list).

  • Act as Solutions Engineeringโ€™s field liaison (โ€œeyes in the fieldโ€), validating assumptions, capturing constraints, and feeding actionable insights back to engineering and delivery teams.

  • Perform site surveys and field verification (access, pathways, obstructions, staging, safety considerations), ensuring consistent collection of data needed for planning and deployment.

  • Produce picture packages / field documentation (photo logs, annotated images, site notes) and maintain organized repositories to support engineering design, construction planning, and stakeholder communications.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with HOA boards/property managers, becoming the trusted point of contact for field coordination, expectations, and issue resolution.

  • Establish and strengthen relationships with municipal stakeholders (ROW, permitting, planning, inspections), proactively reducing delays and improving coordination. (Local permitting often involves approvals and rightโ€‘ofโ€‘way authorizations from municipal entities; managing these touchpoints helps reduce friction.)

  • Develop relationships with developers/builders for Greenfield and MDU projects to align timelines, access, and site readiness requirements.

  • Help identify, qualify, and maintain key contacts across HOAs, municipalities, and developer organizations; build influence networks that support smoother execution.

Crossโ€‘Functional Coordination & Operational Rigor

  • Coordinate across internal teams (Solutions Engineering, Construction, PMO/Program Ops, Project Management, etc.) to ensure field findings translate into clear next steps, risk mitigation, updated plans, and assist other roles as needed.

  • Support early identification of permitting/documentation needs (site plans, engineering drawings, compliance documentation) and help drive completeness & quality to avoid delays.

  • Establish simple, repeatable field enablement processes (survey checklists, photo standards, reporting cadence) and continuously improve them based on stakeholder feedback and outcomes.

Main Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • You must reside in the Minneapolis, Minnesota or surrounding areas. You will be working primarily remote but will be required to come into an office from time to time.
  • 2+ years' experience in field operations, enablement, construction coordination, telecom/OSP, network deployment support, or similar fieldโ€‘facing program roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders (HOAs, municipalities, developers, and property managers).

  • Experience conducting site surveys / field verification and producing structured documentation for technical teams.

  • Strong crossโ€‘functional communication and ability to translate field observations into clear, actionable updates for internal teams.

  • Comfort working independently in the field with high ownership and accountability.

Compensation

Pay Range: $65k-$108k
