• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs, developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.
• Provide both pre-crisis and crisis consultation services, developing crisis management plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all clinical services in adherence to regulatory standards, utilizing our organization’s electronic health record system.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to create effective positive behavior support plans, working toward shared goals for each client.
• Actively engage in the accreditation and licensing processes, ensuring compliance and contributing to the institute's mission and objectives.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, state agencies, and community partners, working to facilitate access to additional services as needed.
• Foster open communication with all stakeholders, promoting the mission of Therapeutic Health Institute while upholding the standards of care required by our contracts.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local, state, and federal organizations to identify new funding opportunities and program expansions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through attendance at conferences and workshops; contribute to professional communities through participation in relevant task forces and committees.
• Embody and promote the values and principles of Therapeutic Health Institute in every interaction.
• Other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, emphasizing adaptability and team-oriented service delivery.

This position focuses on a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing emotional disturbances, substance use disorders, and developmental challenges. Counselors will work with adults, adolescents, and families to provide tailored interventions that prioritize individual strengths and foster pathways to recovery and wellness.

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling is a minimum requirement for this position.
• Current independent LMHC license (or equivalent) issued by the state board is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate clinical records and generate comprehensive reports.
• Effective collaboration skills within an interdisciplinary team setting, adapting to varying team dynamics.
• Strong communication skills to articulate ideas and treatment plans effectively.
• Judicious decision-making capabilities, exercising independent judgment based on professional knowledge.

• Experience in community mental health settings or similar environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and culturally competent practices.
• Prior engagement with various service systems and community partners will be beneficial.
