• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and create behavioral guidelines, positive behavior plans, and risk assessments in response to client needs.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and participate in the creation and implementation of positive supports to enhance client outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to gather essential data for informed treatment recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in adherence to regulatory standards, contributing to cohesive and transparent team dynamics.
• Represent Community Outreach Mental Care in statewide meetings and collaborate with various agencies to foster partnerships that enhance service delivery.
• Continually pursue professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.
• Promote and embody the agency's mission and values in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Complete other duties as needed, supporting the strategic goals of the clinic as directed by the Clinic Director.

As an LMHC at Community Outreach Mental Care, you will work with clients from various backgrounds, including those experiencing emotional challenges, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. Your role is vital in fostering therapeutic relationships and applying distinct treatment methodologies that facilitate healing and growth. Your work will directly impact clients and their families, guiding them toward achieving wellness and self-sufficiency.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.
• An independent LMHC license issued by the applicable state board is mandatory for this role.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and preparing reports that reflect ongoing treatment strategies and outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize clinical judgment and make independent decisions based on professional knowledge and standards.

• Experience working in community mental health settings is highly desirable.
• Prior involvement in crisis intervention and treatment for various mental health conditions will be considered an asset.
• Experience with grant writing or securing funding opportunities to enhance service offerings is a plus.
