Job description
- Provide technical support to interpreters, assisting with day-to-day issues related to internet connectivity, PC or headset setup, audio problems, and more.
- Supervise and monitor Mattermost channels, ensuring technical issues are addressed promptly and without delay.
- Collect and review system check pictures as part of the onboarding process for new hires.
- Perform maintenance tasks on HLS' servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Set up emails and user profiles for our direct clients within the Boostlingo portal.
- Ensure our company website remains up-to-date, online, and functioning correctly.
- Provide technical assistance to clients through our HelpDesk line, resolving issues swiftly and effectively.
- University or college degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of end-user experience, with the ability to troubleshoot common technical problems.
- Experience with programming, server management, and/or website maintenance. (Preferred technologies: Linux, Ubuntu, Plesk, cPanel, PHP, and MySQL).
- Proficient in Next.js 15, TypeScript, Django Channels, PostgreSQL + Redis
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, to effectively support interpreters and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, demonstrating a high degree of self-motivation.
