This position exclusively operates in a telehealth environment, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a high level of accessibility for clients. Working from home, you will utilize digital platforms to conduct assessments and therapy sessions, ensuring that our clients receive the care they need in a safe and supportive manner. • Engage directly with clients who are experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders through virtual sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Collaborative participation with the mental health team to advance treatment goals, striving towards shared objectives and improved patient outcomes.

• Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds and individual beliefs while conducting therapy.

• Operate competently within Coastline Health System's organizational structures, collaborating with external systems to ensure integrated care delivery.

• Adhere to professional ethical guidelines and Coastline’s code of conduct to maintain the highest standards of practice.

• Conduct brief evidence-based assessments and screenings, coordinating further evaluations as necessary.

• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate various support services while facilitating communication among clients, families, and other service providers.

• Provide a spectrum of treatment options, including prevention, intervention, and recovery services tailored to individual client needs.

• Deliver crisis intervention and responsive support, effectively assessing and managing emergencies as they arise.

• Manage a caseload that includes conducting assessments, as well as individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring that interventions address client-specific challenges and goals.

• Regularly monitor client progress, including treatment admissions, ongoing care, and discharge criteria, ensuring timely follow-up.

• Complete required documentation and reports punctually, adhering to organizational policies for data management.

• Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed.

• Engage in quality improvement committees and initiatives aimed at enhancing agency service delivery and overall patient care.

The focus of this role includes working with clients who experience significant mental health challenges in a diverse community setting. You will support individuals navigating various life circumstances, including socioeconomic obstacles, cultural diversity, and language differences, with particular emphasis on fostering empowerment and resilience among clients.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• Current LCSW licensure in the state of California is essential for this position.

• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, risk assessment, and crisis management for diverse populations is crucial.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective client interaction and documentation.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

• Competency in addressing age-related and specialty issues relevant to various client demographics is desirable.

• At least two years of clinical experience in mental health settings is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a valued asset that enhances service delivery to our bilingual clients.

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
