About the Organization

At Coastline Health System, our mission is to foster healthier communities by delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services. We operate in areas that are often overlooked and provide care regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. Our visionary approach encourages us to think globally while acting locally, aiming to serve as a model for community health centers nationwide.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility that adapts to modern work-life dynamics. You will be collaborating with a team of multidisciplinary professionals who are committed to a shared mission. Our organizational culture values inclusion, collaboration, and respect for the diversity of our clients' traditions and beliefs, ensuring that every team member feels empowered to contribute meaningfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain ethical standards by adhering to professional guidelines and the code of conduct established by Coastline Health System.
  • Conduct evidence-based screenings and assessments, developing integrated care plans that consider the holistic needs of each client.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, tailoring your approach to align with the specific needs and backgrounds of your clients.
  • Assist in crisis intervention efforts, providing timely and appropriate support during emergencies.
  • Track and monitor client progress, ensuring that treatment plans are adjusted according to the evolving needs of each client.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by participating in committees focused on enhancing service delivery.
  • Provide on-call coverage during and after operational hours as assigned, ensuring continuous support for our clients.
  • Complete documentation and reporting in a timely manner to maintain compliance with agency standards and enhance operational transparency.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele comprises individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds, many of whom face systemic challenges in accessing mental health services. As an LCSW at Coastline Health System, you will be pivotal in developing tailored interventions that respect and reflect these diverse perspectives, ultimately driving positive health outcomes for underserved populations.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, highlighting expertise in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, with an ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Competency in managing developmental needs related to age or specialty issues for each population served.
Preferred Experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing our ability to reach and serve our diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with integrated care practices and an understanding of the complexities involved in community health settings.
Compensation and Benefits

As a valued member of Coastline Health System, you can expect a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes:
