Key Responsibilities- Provide telehealth counseling sessions to clients, focusing on emotional and mental health challenges through video chat platforms.
- Engage clients in open discussions to explore their feelings, experiences, and emotions thoroughly.
- Conduct thorough assessments, utilizing therapeutic conversations and observations to identify the clients’ needs and challenges.
- Assist clients in establishing personal goals, planning actionable steps, and gaining valuable insights into their mental health journey.
- Utilize evidence-based methodologies to enhance the therapeutic process and foster a solution-oriented atmosphere in sessions.
- Ensure minimal paperwork by allowing our administrative team to handle client acquisition, billing, and organizational tasks.
Your primary focus will be on stable, low acuity clients who are seeking guidance and support to navigate their mental landscapes. All clients are carefully screened to ensure they fit within our practice scope, thus allowing you to concentrate solely on delivering high-quality intervention and support.
Qualifications- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
- An active, independent state license, such as LMFT, LCSW, or LPC.
- Proficiency in making professional evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation decisions.
- Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills, displaying empathy and a sympathetic nature to foster strong relationships with clients.
- Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation.
- Prior experience in a clinical or counseling setting, particularly within a remote or teletherapy framework, is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and modalities, including CBT, DBT, or solution-focused therapy.
- Experience working with diverse client demographics and an understanding of their unique challenges.
