This role is primarily remote, allowing you to carry out your duties from the comfort of your own home while still contributing significantly to team objectives. • Provide individual psychotherapy sessions focused on addressing mental health concerns within the context of substance abuse treatment.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing best practices and solution-oriented interventions.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) specifically designed to aid in substance abuse recovery.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and to enhance treatment continuity.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to design and deliver coordinated care plans for our clients.
• Educate patients and their families on available mental health and substance abuse resources, fostering a sense of awareness and empowerment.
• Stay abreast of current research and literature in the field to enhance practice effectiveness.
• Effectively manage your caseload by meeting treatment goals and adhering to the highest ethical standards in clinical practice.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse group of patients who are undergoing substance abuse treatment, along with co-occurring mental health disorders. By employing a compassionate, evidence-based approach, you will address unique needs across varying backgrounds, ensuring every individual receives personalized care that promotes long-term recovery and success.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Pennsylvania is necessary.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience specifically addressing substance abuse therapy is essential.
• Proficiency in solution-oriented therapeutic interventions and methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration with both patients and peers.

While a minimum of one year of clinical experience is required, candidates with additional experience focusing on substance abuse treatment, including familiarity with various therapeutic techniques, will be preferred. Knowledge of current trends in mental health and substance abuse practices is a plus.
