Job description

Salary: $28- $30 Hourly


Surespan is seeking skilled and general labourers for various constructions projects across BC. These are all full time, permanent positions for the right candidates and provide strong opportunities for growth and stability.


Functions of this role include:


  • Working with the site superintendent and foreman to receive and complete tasks required
  • Using tools, powered tools, or machinery to work and perform on-site. Operating machinery as needed to assist with the task on hand
  • Measuring and cutting materials as needed, helping with hands-on installations
  • Unloading and moving materials around site
  • Rigging cranes, using hand signals
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment for you and others
  • Attending safety meetings, toolbox talks, and orientations to better understand the safety aspect of each site. including holding a valid fall protection ticket
  • Aiding and assisting other workers on site where needed.



What you Bring:


  • Minimum 1 year construction labour experience
  • Proven history of safe practice working on construction sites and around heavy-duty equipment
  • Willingness and ability to perform the required tasks (lifting, carrying, moving materials up to 50lbs.)
  • Good work ethic and attitude towards hard work and long hours
  • Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye to identify issues or problems before they arise
  • Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools, power tools, heavy-duty machinery, and equipment
