Job description

As a Advanced Field Service Engineer, you will drive the development of remote and on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems, provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers and competitors. You will also drive revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists and you will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development. 

You will lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.  You will be the face of Honeywell to with end-users, peers, and competitors in a conference setting. Use knowledge of Honeywell end-to-end product and solution development and delivery to drive increased efficiencies. Use technical expertise of complex Honeywell solutions/product offerings to enhance customer experience. 

You will report to our Senior Field Service Supervisor and work on a remote work schedule. This position can be located anywhere in the US.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 7+ years of technical installation, integration, and field service experience supporting electronic security, access control, alarm monitoring, or related systems.
  • 7+ years of customer service experience providing technical support, issue resolution, and client relationship management while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • 7+ years of experience preparing technical documentation, service reports, and customer communications with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance or currently possess an active clearance.
  • Proven ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation approximately every five weeks, responding to critical system issues within established service level requirements.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 75%

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $88,500-$110,750. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $88,500-$110,750. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
