Member Administration Specialist (Remote)
Location: Remote (Approved States Only: Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee (Eastern Time Zone only), and Virginia)
Expected Duration: September 2026 – March 2027, potential for full-time conversion with good performance!
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Rotating schedules as assigned
- Shifts may occur between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST
- Occasional weekend work may be required
Training Schedule:
- Six weeks of paid training
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM EST
- No time off permitted during training
Pay Rate: $25.19/Hour
About the Role
We are seeking Member Administration Specialists to support a healthcare and insurance organization during a high-volume enrollment period. This role is responsible for member enrollment processing, eligibility maintenance, account research, and member support while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process member enrollments and eligibility updates
- Maintain and update member records
- Research and resolve account issues
- Assist members with benefit and coverage-related inquiries
- Support ID card requests and account maintenance activities
- Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member concerns
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and internal systems
- Adhere to HIPAA, confidentiality, quality, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service, administrative support, call center, insurance support, healthcare support, or related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong data entry and problem-solving skills.
Attendance Expectations
Attendance is critical for success in this role. Employees are expected to maintain reliable attendance throughout the assignment.
Mandatory workdays include:
- Day After Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Eve
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in health insurance, healthcare administration, Medicare, Medicaid, or benefits administration.
- Previous experience working in a high-volume customer support environment.
- Experience navigating multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
