Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager - Universal KYC (MetaMask Passport) in Netherlands.

This role is focused on redefining how identity verification works within the Web3 ecosystem by building a seamless, reusable, and privacy-conscious KYC experience across a global digital platform. You will lead the strategy and execution of a universal identity layer that enables users to verify once and access multiple products and services with minimal friction. Operating at the intersection of product infrastructure, compliance, trust, and user experience, you will design scalable onboarding systems that support both growth and regulatory integrity. The position requires close collaboration with engineering, compliance, design, and cross-functional product teams to create standardized identity primitives and adoption frameworks. You will directly influence onboarding conversion, transaction activation, and long-term user trust across millions of users worldwide. This is a high-ownership, execution-driven role within a fast-moving, remote-first environment shaping the future of decentralized identity and Web3 accessibility.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and own the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for a universal KYC and reusable identity platform.
  • Build scalable identity verification primitives and standards that can be integrated across multiple products and user journeys.
  • Design and optimize low-friction KYC experiences that improve onboarding conversion and reduce time-to-first-transaction.
  • Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and design teams to balance regulatory requirements with intuitive user experiences.
  • Drive adoption of reusable identity solutions across product ecosystems and internal teams.
  • Work closely with third-party identity verification vendors to optimize verification performance, trust, and operational efficiency.
  • Improve user trust and consistency across onboarding and verification experiences globally.
  • Define and monitor key success metrics including KYC completion rates, onboarding conversion, transaction activation, and identity reuse rates.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment and execution in a highly collaborative, fast-paced product environment.
  • Ensure privacy-conscious implementation of verification systems while maintaining compliance with international standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience building or scaling KYC, identity verification (IDV), onboarding, or trust-focused digital products.
  • Strong background in fintech, digital finance, or Web3 product management environments.
  • Hands-on experience working with identity verification providers such as Sumsub, Persona, Veriff, Onfido, Stripe Identity, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of compliance workflows including KYC, KYB, customer due diligence (CDD), and onboarding regulations.
  • Experience building platform-level products adopted by multiple teams or business units.
  • Strong ability to bridge technical systems, infrastructure, and user experience considerations.
  • Excellent product judgment with a first-principles approach to solving complex onboarding and trust challenges.
  • Strong understanding of privacy, security, compliance, and trust trade-offs in digital identity systems.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive execution in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in remote-first organizations.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • Equity participation and long-term ownership opportunities
  • Fully remote-first global work environment
  • Flexible working arrangements and asynchronous collaboration culture
  • Unlimited vacation and company-wide recharge days
  • Continuous learning and professional development programs
  • Access to industry-leading blockchain and Web3 expertise
  • Opportunity to work on highly impactful products shaping the future of decentralized identity
  • Inclusive and globally diverse workplace culture
