Overview System One has partnered with an organization based in Tulsa, Oklahoma seeking a Planview Administrator who will play a key role in the ongoing support, configuration, integration support, and optimization of the Planview environment. The individual will build both functional and technical capability, with the goal of progressing into a more advanced administrative position over time. This is a full-time, permanent role seeking candidates in the following states only Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. Only US Citizens or green card holders are eligible to apply at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain general Planview application settings in alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Manage resource data, including resource attributes, user access grants, and role assignments, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Configure and maintain screens, fields, columns, and default column sets based on user and leadership requirements.
  • Support report updates and enhancements to ensure consistent and accurate delivery of business insights.
  • Work closely under the guidance of the Lead Administrator to learn system architecture, integrations, and data flows.
  • Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting integration errors, data issues, and system break/fix scenarios.
  • Help triage and resolve production issues, escalating as needed while building troubleshooting expertise.
  • Support configuration management and release readiness by executing defined testing expectations.
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and executing test plans for system changes, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Provide functional support to end users, troubleshooting issues and answering system-related questions.
  • Contribute to knowledge management by maintaining FAQs, documentation, and internal knowledge base content.
  • Develop user-facing guidance and training materials to improve adoption and system understanding.
  • Develop strong working relationships and collaborate with team members, business partners, IT stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Document and analyze business processes, user requirements, and technology capabilities to identify opportunities for efficiency.
  • Perform business process reviews and make recommendations for improvements or changes.
  • Identify and recommend controls for business processes and technology solutions.
  • Implement process or technology improvements through project management activities.
  • Research and understand technology solution limitations, and recommend enhancements.
  • Support ongoing business user support, including troubleshooting, configuration, testing, and training.
  • Develop and maintain moderate to complex business intelligence analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Guide and mentor other team members as needed.
  • Prepare and present information to management.

Requirements

  • Experience administering Planview or similar project management/financial enterprise systems.
  • Foundational understanding of system configuration, data structures, and user access management.
  • Exposure to integrations, data flows, or system interfaces (APIs, batch processing, middleware).
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and support break/fix resolution under guidance.
  • Experience or familiarity with testing methodologies and execution.
  • Strong willingness to learn in a mentor-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to support multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience defining and implementing project requirements, testing, training, and resolving issues.
  • Knowledge of office software, including ability to develop and present reports and documentation.
  • Effective in a team environment, capable of negotiating, resolving conflicts, and building commitment.
  • Ability to interpret technical topics for non-technical users and proactively propose initiatives.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the capacity to research, evaluate, and develop recommendations.
  • Ability to work under stress and adapt to changing circumstances.
