This is a remote position.
Essential Functions
  • Full-Stack Development: Lead the end-to-end design and development of robust, high-performance applications using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js for backend services, alongside Angular for the frontend.
  • UI/UX Implementation: Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design, utilizing modern UI templates, HTML5, CSS, and Angular to ensure responsive and seamless user experiences.
  • Cloud Architecture: Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable cloud environments using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway).
  • System Integration: Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices, to maintain efficient data flow between the frontend, backend, and database layers.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Guide technical teams, conduct rigorous code reviews, establish software development best practices, and drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) initiatives.
  • Agile Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and UI/UX designers in an Agile environment to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Cloud Computing: Proven hands-on experience developing and deploying applications in AWS environments.
  • Frontend Technologies: Expansive experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS, and modern UI templates.
  • Backend Technologies: Strong proficiency in Java with deep expertise in the Spring Boot framework for building enterprise-grade microservices.
  • Server-Side JavaScript: Solid experience with Node.js for backend development, API integration, or tooling.
  • Database: Experience designing and interacting with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD pipeline tools.
