Position Overview

Gemini Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team at our remote detox center. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns and personal strengths.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that focus on specific goals and interventions tailored to each client's needs.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive and coordinated care.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups designed to foster community and shared learning.
  • Conduct crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning as necessary to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of client interactions in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will include individuals dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use issues. You will work to empower clients by providing them with the tools to improve their mental health and overall well-being. Your empathetic approach will help destigmatize mental health issues and foster a safe space for healing during their detox process.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
  • Proven proficiency in psychological assessment and treatment planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting.
  • Strong knowledge and application of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and working with diverse populations is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
