The Gemini Counseling Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. While the majority of your work will be conducted online, you may also participate in team-based initiatives and collaborative meetings to enhance our treatment offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand client mental health concerns, strengths, and resources.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Utilize various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include clear goals and effective interventions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and respectful care.
• Offer crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning as necessary to address urgent client needs.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups that promote community and shared experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in providing tailored support to individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, ensuring their needs are met with the utmost care and professionalism.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions relevant to outpatient mental health care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with a diverse population is a plus, showcasing adaptability and understanding of different cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 60,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
