  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments for students, identifying their mental health needs and constructing personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based interventions and best practices.
  • Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, tailoring each approach to fit the unique circumstances and preferences of your clients.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations by meticulously maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • Work in close partnership with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, school staff, and external service providers, to coordinate care effectively and address the broad range of factors affecting students’ well-being.

  • Stay informed of current research in mental health, integrating the latest studies into your practice to enhance therapeutic outcomes for students.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents who may experience a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. This population may include students dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or adjustment issues, necessitating a thoughtful and adaptive therapeutic approach. You will play a critical role in helping these young individuals navigate their mental health journeys, ultimately influencing their academic and personal development.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, reflecting your strong academic background in the field.
  • A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Washington State, showcasing your commitment to professional standards and ethics.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably focusing on psychotherapy services within educational or community settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a range of solution-focused therapeutic techniques, equipping you to help clients achieve meaningful change.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and effectively engage with clients and their families.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, allowing you to address complex situations with confidence.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, fostering a supportive network to enhance care delivery.
Preferred Experience
