Position Summary
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This is a part-time remote position with anticipated start in July 2026 and a period of performance of 1 base year plus 3 option years.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assess programmatic risks and ensure compliance with DoD governance frameworks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies for identified risks.
  • Perform risk assessment methodologies, compliance audits, and regulatory requirements including DoD RMF, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and documentation skills.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Information Security, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in risk and compliance analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring adherence to federal security and compliance mandates.
  • Experience with DoD cybersecurity policies, security control implementation, and program governance audits.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six, PMP, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP.
Required Education and Experience Equivalency
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Information Security, or a related field.
  • OR Minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in risk and compliance analysis.
