About You:

You are an experienced Project Coordinator with excellent communication and organization skills. You thrive in a fast-paced, team environment with the personal drive and initiative to take ownership of administrative support activities, while maintaining professionalism and product quality.

Position Overview & Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator will conduct the administrative activities for a new Department of War (DoW) sponsored S&T Center planned for the Fall of 2026. Working closely with the Centers director and program leads, this position coordinates day-to-day program activities to establish and sustain the new Center. The Project Coordinator joins a passionate team at an exciting moment of significant growth and development for the Center.

This position is contingent upon contract award, with performance anticipated to begin on or about September 01st, 2026

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Partner proactively with Program Director, Program Managers, and technical teams to coordinate project activities and support fast-paced, successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate project meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, capturing action items, and following up on outstanding tasks.
  • Manage calendars, coordinate travel, and organize meetings with internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
  • Manage project database and prepare charts for metrics tracking.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, shipping, printing, and other operational support activities as needed.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries and logistical planning.
  • Research local conditions and provide logistical support for domestic and international project activities.

Required Education, Certification, Skills, Capabilities:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 10+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator or Executive Assistant role in academic or non-profit institutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, working both independently with initiative and collaboratively.
  • Manage and prioritize diverse job tasks, perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines in a timely manner while maintaining professionalism and product quality.
  • Excellent organizational skills, flexibility and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience working in or with DoW (or contractors)

Primary Work Location: Work will be performed in Arlington, VA, with the option for remote work in accordance with the Hybrid Work & Telecommuting Policy and based on mission requirements.

Security: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Special Work Conditions:

  • Possible travel to other CONUS locations.
  • Occasional work outside of corporate core business hours.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually
