Job description

Senior AI Developer AWS / Agentic AI / Intelligent Document Processing
Jacksonville, FL | 100% Remote
ARC Group is recruiting for a Senior AI Developer with a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. This is an opportunity to help build the next generation of intelligent unstructured data management and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions at enterprise scale.
This is a highly technical, hands-on role for an experienced AI/software engineer who can design, develop, and deploy cloud-native AI solutions across the full development lifecycle.
About the Role
You will work at the intersection of AI engineering, backend development, cloud architecture, and enterprise data management to deliver transformative solutions for unstructured data.
The environment includes AWS, Amazon Bedrock, S3, Snowflake, AgentCore, LangGraph, MCP, A2A frameworks, vector databases, and workflow orchestration technologies.
The ideal candidate has actually built and deployed production AI solutions and can connect modern AI capabilities with enterprise-grade backend services, data platforms, security, and workflow automation.
Key Responsibilities
  • AI & Intelligent Document Processing: Design and develop AI-powered solutions that ingest, classify, extract, enrich, and route information from unstructured documents and data.
  • Agentic AI Development: Build and integrate autonomous AI agents using technologies such as AWS AgentCore, LangGraph, MCP, and A2A frameworks.
  • AWS Cloud Architecture: Develop secure, scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS, S3, compute services, networking, and Amazon Bedrock.
  • Backend Development: Build production-grade APIs, microservices, synchronous/asynchronous services, and event-driven applications.
  • Workflow Orchestration: Design and implement reliable, auditable workflows using AWS Step Functions, Airflow, Temporal, or comparable orchestration technologies.
  • Data & AI Platforms: Develop solutions leveraging Snowflake, vector databases, RAG architectures, and enterprise data pipelines.
  • LLM & Foundation Models: Apply LLMs, foundation models, prompt engineering, embeddings, retrieval, and other modern AI techniques.
  • Data Governance & Security: Implement data cataloging, lineage, retention, protection, and governance practices with a strong focus on security and HIPAA compliance.
  • Enterprise Integration: Develop solutions integrating AI agents, automation platforms, data services, and downstream enterprise applications.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Work with data engineers, architects, platform teams, and business stakeholders while mentoring junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years focused on AI/ML, generative AI, or data engineering in production environments.
  • Strong experience developing backend services, APIs, microservices, or event-driven applications.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, including S3 and EC2 or comparable AWS compute services.
  • Experience with Snowflake or a comparable modern cloud data platform.
  • Production experience with AI/ML development and deployment, including LLMs, foundation models, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic AI.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration using AWS Step Functions, Apache Airflow, Temporal, or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, data quality, and data governance.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, security, and production support.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Technology Must-Haves
Hands-on professional experience with the following technologies is strongly preferred:
  • AWS
  • Amazon S3
  • Amazon Bedrock
  • AWS AgentCore
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol)
  • A2A / Agent-to-Agent Frameworks
  • Vector Databases
  • Snowflake
  • Workflow Orchestration / Workflow Development
  • LLMs / Generative AI
  • RAG / Retrieval-Augmented Generation
  • Backend/API Development
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience developing Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions.
  • Experience with OCR, ICR, NLP, information extraction, document classification, or document understanding.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, Claude, AgentCore, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
  • Experience implementing MCP and A2A integration patterns.
  • Experience designing and implementing RAG and vector-search solutions.
  • Experience with unstructured data platforms and enterprise AI solutions.
  • Healthcare industry experience, particularly working with HIPAA-regulated data.
  • Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise workflow and automation platforms.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a hands-on Senior AI Developer, not simply a traditional software engineer who has experimented with generative AI tools.
The strongest candidates will have production experience building AI solutions and can demonstrate the ability to connect:
  • LLMs / Agents + AWS + Bedrock + Snowflake + Vector Databases + Workflow Orchestration + Backend Services
  • into secure, scalable enterprise applications.
  • Candidates with direct experience in AgentCore, MCP, A2A, Bedrock, Snowflake, S3, and vector databases will be especially valuable.
Work Experience
5+ years of related professional experience, including technical design and hands-on software development within the IT industry.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Work Authorization & Location
  • Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only. No C2C.
  • Time Zone: Candidates must be located in the Eastern Time Zone or Central Time Zone. Eastern Time Zone candidates are preferred.
  • Recruiter Submissions: No third-party recruiters or recruiter-represented candidates will be accepted.
