Job description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our team at Buchanan Transportation. This role involves performing local deliveries with a focus on safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
  • Operate a dump truck safely and efficiently to transport materials for local deliveries.
  • Load and unload materials as required, ensuring secure and proper handling.
  • Maintain daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations and protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License class A (CDL) with a clean driving record, and DOT medical examination certificate
  • Proven experience operating dump trucks in a local delivery setting.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to commercial driving.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading materials.
  • Excellent time management skills and reliability.
  • Ability to work independently as the position is remote.
