We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Bobtail Fuel Driver to join our team. The Fuel Driver is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering fuel products to customer sites in a timely and professional manner while maintaining compliance with all DOT, company, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
• Safely operate a Class A CDL bobtail truck to deliver fuel (diesel, gasoline, or other petroleum products) to commercial, industrial, and/or job site customers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Load and unload fuel following all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip sheets, and required DOT documentation.
• Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and on schedule.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including PPE requirements.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements required.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred; prior fuel delivery experience a plus.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol testing and background checks.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to lift and handle hoses, climb on/off truck, and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
