Position Overview
Our Platform Engineering team builds and maintains the core services and web applications that power scalable SaaS solutions used by educational organizations worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges across the stack and building systems that enable product teams to move faster and more effectively.ย 
This role combines backend platform development, frontend application architecture, and cloud-native engineering practices. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across services, APIs, and user interfaces while helping drive engineering quality, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable platform services, UI, APIs, and shared application capabilitiesย 
  • Build modern, performant user experiences using React and Next.jsย 
  • Develop and optimize backend services using Go and PostgreSQLย 
  • Design and implement GraphQL APIs and supporting data modelsย 
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, API-driven applicationsย 
  • Contribute to platform architecture, technical design, and engineering standardsย 
  • Troubleshoot application issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement sustainable solutionsย 
  • Improve developer experience through tooling, automation, and engineering best practicesย 
  • Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and architectural discussionsย 
  • Mentor engineers and promote high standards for code quality, testing, and maintainabilityย 
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows to accelerate debugging, validation, automation, and deliveryย 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and modern software engineering practicesย 
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining production web applicationsย 
  • Strong experience with Go and modern JavaScript/TypeScript developmentย 
  • Deep experience with React and Next.jsย 
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimizationย 
  • Experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIsย 
  • Experience building and supporting microservices-based architecturesย 
  • Familiarity with micro frontend architectures and distributed systemsย 
  • Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, EKS, AppSync, and Docker-based workloadsย 
  • Strong understanding of secure, accessible, and high-performance web application developmentย 
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows, preferably using Bitbucket or GitHubย 
  • Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills across the full stackย 
  • Experience working in Agile development environmentsย 
  • Ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic deliveryย 
  • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering best practicesย 
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and modern developer productivity toolsย
