Job description

Role: Salesforce B2B CloudCraze Developer

Location: Remote/Houston, TX

Duration: 12+ month

  • Support the full software development lifecycle, including development of new code, build and deploy, and bug fixes
  • Work closely with customers and team members to understand and document business and/or technical requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions
  • Lead the architectural design of scalable Salesforce solutions, including system integrations and data migration strategies
  • Produce recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code
  • Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy vs. build recommendations
  • Utilize experience in systems analysis, design, and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies
  • Provide guidance on application development and customization in Salesforce, ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives
  • Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders and team members, offering expertise in Salesforce best practices, security, and scalability
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions
  • Monitor Salesforce performance and provide solutions for optimization
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
  • Take reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others, report workplace hazards, injuries, or illness immediately.

Education, Experience, & Ability Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of programming/systems analysis experience
  • 2+ years of Salesforce development experience, specifically with the Salesforce B2B Commerce managed package, CloudCraze ideally.
  • 2+ years of Java development experience
  • 2+ years of systems integration experience
  • Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components
  • Familiarity with SDLC and CI/CD tools, repo, branching and deployment
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to work as a project team member or occasionally as a project lead and coach technical staff as appropriate
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Additional qualifications:

  • Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and comply with MRC guidelines and expectations, to include Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.
