• Perform thorough crisis assessments and interventions for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies to provide immediate support to those in distress.
• Collaborate closely with local law enforcement and emergency response units when necessary to ensure client safety during critical situations.
• Provide ongoing follow-up care and supportive recommendations, guiding clients towards appropriate resources and long-term wellness strategies.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training and workshops focused on crisis counseling and trauma-informed care.

Our clientele includes individuals grappling with addiction, trauma, emotional crises, and suicidal ideation. As an LMHC, you will work with a diverse group of clients, each requiring a unique approach to therapy. • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in providing crisis intervention and mental health counseling services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting rapid assessments and creating personalized crisis intervention plans.
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to connect and empathize with clients in high-stress situations.
• In-depth knowledge of ethical and legal standards related to mental health counseling.

• Specialized training in trauma-informed care and additional certifications relevant to crisis counseling.
• Experience in the field of substance misuse and addiction therapy.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices.
