• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gauge patients' trauma histories and tailor individualized treatment strategies.
• Design, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, adjusting them as necessary based on patient progress.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions that help clients process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote emotional rehabilitation.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated support for each patient.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and supported.
• Deliver educational resources to clients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with knowledge and skills.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with legal standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance care strategies and ensure a supportive clinical environment.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma-related therapy to continually improve competencies and therapeutic effectiveness.

In your role, you will primarily work with adults who have experienced trauma and may be suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This population often encompasses individuals from various backgrounds, including those who have encountered life-altering events such as abuse, violence, and displacement. Your skills and understanding will be critical in fostering healing and guiding clients towards recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Ability to manage high-stress scenarios with composure and professionalism.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology for documentation and reporting.
• Capacity for effective teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with strong theoretical knowledge and demonstrating a drive for professional development are also encouraged to apply.
