The AP/AR Specialist will play a crucial role within a large finance team, managing accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Reporting directly to the CFO and Finance Manager, this remote position involves regular interaction with vendors and customers while utilizing ERP and specialized accounting software to support financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices and manage billing operations
- Reconcile payments and monitor account balances
- Enter financial data accurately and maintain records
- Generate and assist with financial reporting
- Communicate regularly with vendors and customers to resolve discrepancies
- Manage dispute resolution and transaction reviews
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Proficient in invoice processing and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Effective communication abilities for vendor and customer interactions
