Job Title: Member Care Associate

Location: Remote, local to DC, Maryland, Virginia market

Assignment Type: Contract (Through October)

Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM | 37.5 hours per week (33.5 hours during the summer)

Our client is a mission-driven professional association that supports thousands of healthcare professionals through education, resources, and member services. They are seeking a Member Care Associate to help deliver exceptional support to members during a temporary coverage assignment.

Job Description:

The Member Care Associate will provide high-quality customer service by assisting members with questions related to accounts, memberships, and general inquiries. This role requires someone who enjoys helping others, can effectively manage a high volume of requests, and is comfortable using multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to member inquiries through phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist members with account maintenance, membership questions, payments, and general service requests.
  • Update and maintain accurate member records within CRM and database systems.
  • Process administrative tasks, including returned mail, documentation updates, and data entry.
  • Prioritize multiple requests while meeting established service goals and response times.
  • Partner with internal departments to resolve member issues and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Handle confidential member information with discretion and accuracy.
  • Support special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of customer service, membership support, administrative, or call center experience.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, association, or professional services environment is preferred.
  • Experience using CRM or membership management systems such as Salesforce, Personify, Fonteva, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
