Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Senior Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. In this key role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and internal controls-all while contributing to process improvements and cross-departmental collaboration.

  • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payments accurately and on time
  • Complete commission spreadsheets for job reconciliation and account team compensation determination
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial transaction records
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure financial data integrity
  • Implement and maintain internal accounting controls
  • Prepare documentation for audits
  • Stay current with accounting standards and regulations
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, reporting)
