Summary:

Seeking to hire a full time Full Stack Software Developer to be an important part of a team that supports state-of-the-art bridge management software used by government Departments of Transportation across North America to inventory, inspect, and manage their bridges. They will be expected to work with an energetic team that includes product owners, quality testers, civil engineers, and other software developers.

** This is a full-time REMOTE position and the pay Depends on your Experience.

Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of experience with C# / .NET, including ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
  • Two or more years of experience with a modern JavaScript framework (Vue, React, or Angular); ProMiles utilizes Vue 3 with Vite and Pinia.
  • Two or more years using MSSQL and writing SQL queries.
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
  • Experience using Visual Studio 2022 to write and debug code, and SSMS to query databases.
  • Experience using Git and Azure DevOps (or similar) for source control and CI/CD.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a distributed team.
  • The ability to multi-task and adapt to quick changes in priorities.

Desired:

  • Two or more years of experience with Oracle in addition to SQL Server.
  • Experience with Dapper or other micro-ORMs and writing performant data-access code.
  • Experience with automated testing (xUnit/NUnit, Vitest) and validation frameworks such as FluentValidation.
  • Experience with authentication/authorization standards (OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, JWT).
  • Experience with observability tooling (structured logging, Open Telemetry, Prometheus/Jaeger).
