Job description

About the Role

At Labviva, our marketplace is only as strong as our supplier ecosystem. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Manager, Supplier Growth & Partnerships who deeply understands the supplier mindset, operational workflows, and commercial drivers. This isn't a traditional SaaS sales role; you will be a dedicated business develpment manager of Labviva's supplier network, specifically targeting Life Sciences, R&D, and MRO (office and electronics) materials. Your primary mission is to expand and optimize our supplier portfolio. You will leverage your firsthand experience working with or within supplier organizations to identify, secure, and nurture strategic relationships, ensuring suppliers see Labviva not just as a platform, but as their premier growth channel.

How You Will Contribute
  • Lead complex business development and onboarding cycles to bring high-value Life Sciences and MRO suppliers into the Labviva ecosystem
  • Articulate the strategic and financial value of Labviva to potential partners, helping them navigate digital catalog integration, marketplace logistics, and e-procurement alignment.
  • Establish and maintain deep, trusted relationships with key supplier stakeholders
  • Monitor supplier engagement and performance metrics, analyzing data trends to help partners maximize their sales volume and operational efficiency on the Labviva platform
  • Partner with product, marketing, and implementation teams to ensure our platform's capabilities continuously evolve to solve real-world supplier pain points.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with core suppliers, aligning their commercial goals with Labviva's growth trajectory.
  • Act as the face of Labviva's supplier network at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
What You Bring to the Team
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, account management, or commercial operation specifically working within a supplier organization, a distributor, or directly managing B2B supplier networks.
  • Deep familiarity with the Life Sciences, R&D, or industrial MRO supply chains. You know how manufacturers and distributors operate, how they price, and how they manage inventory.
  • A strong understanding of B2B procurement processes, e-commerce marketplaces, and digital purchasing workflows (e.g., PunchOut catalogs, ERP integrations).
  • Proven track record of navigating complex corporate structures, overcoming commercial friction, and closing mutually beneficial partnership agreements.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, supply chain management, or a related field; an MBA is a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and data analysis tools to track partner health and pipeline metrics.

Location: Boston Headquarters (Hybrid: 3 days a week in the office) or Remote - only considering candidates that reside in the EDT or CDT time zones.
