Opportunity Overview

As an Inventory Analyst Intern, you will work alongside the Global Operations team supporting inventory planning, analytics, and optimization initiatives. This internship provides hands-on exposure to supply chain management, inventory analysis, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration in a global manufacturing environment. You will help analyze inventory trends, support process improvements, and contribute to projects that drive operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support inventory modeling and forecasting activities by analyzing current business conditions, product lifecycles, and inventory requirements.
  • Assist with identifying and reconciling gaps between inventory models and actual inventory levels.
  • Help develop reports and presentations highlighting inventory trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support inventory reduction initiatives through data analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in developing inventory optimization models to determine appropriate inventory levels based on business requirements.
  • Participate in the Excess & Obsolete inventory review process by analyzing inventory balances, supply chain data, and demand forecasts.
  • Support product allocation activities by maintaining component allocation data for new and existing products.
  • Perform data analysis related to inventory scrap reviews and historical shipment trends.
  • Assist with customer material return reviews and disposition tracking.
  • Support consignment and aging material reviews by validating inventory data and claims.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on operations processes, reporting, and analytical tools.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, Demand Management, Supply Chain, and Global Service teams on various projects and initiatives.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Compensation:
The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
